About me

me :)I start this blog as I’m approaching my 30th birthday. Adulthood crisis? Maybe.

I am not a writer. However, I’ve been blogging old school since 1991, in those cute, pink, smelly diaries for girls. 🙂

And I like literature. Especially Victorian novels, but also Harry Potter and Paulo Coelho and anything in between 😉 Alice in Wonderland is my favourite book. Moulin Rouge is my favourite movie.

I am not a yogi. However, I’ve been practicing now for more than three years and yoga has completely changed my life. I’ve mainly practiced Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar and Ashtanga. But there’s still so much to learn…!

I love chocolate and I’m afraid I could never be a vegetarian… So long, Ayurveda 😉

I was born in Catalunya, Spain, and I am proud to have been raised a bilingual and with two heritage backgrounds. English is not my mother tongue. However, I find it easier to express my thoughts in it. Sure I will sometimes write in Catalan or Spanish.

I am in love with Canada. I’ve lived in California. I now live in Brussels, Belgium.

I am just a traveler. The only thing I’m afraid of is that I won’t have enough time to see and do all the things there are to see and do in this world, in this life.

With this blog I only intend to put my thoughts, my happiness 🙂 down somewhere. I believe that recording the happy moments instead of the sad ones, helps me be aware of how truly lucky I am and it sets my mind on how to bring more good in my life.

Sure there will be bits of “just me” hidden (or not as much!) behind a poem, a song, or a short excerpt from a book, but I mainly want to write down all that I come to learn down the yogic journey. And I am not doing it alone –I’ve been very lucky to find friends who are on the same spiritual and transformational path as I am, and who are as passionate about life as I am. We are all learning together. We are all traveling together.

This is just an account of my personal journey.

Namasté.
